Feed Division Manager...
Cooperative Agricultural Producers in Rosalia, Washington, is looking for an individual to manage the feed division of the company.  The candidate needs to be self-motivated, have a vision for the growth of the division, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.  

Responsibilities include:  purchasing commodities, formulating rations, and interacting daily with customers, suppliers, and employees.  The manager will be responsible for preparing an annual budget for the operation as well as monitoring and oversight of daily production, inventory, and maintenance schedules.  A strong mechanical aptitude and a degree in animal science or feed milling is preferred.

5.  WRDA Bill Sent to President Bush
The Water Resources Development Act, which enjoys strong Congressional support, has been sent to the White House for consideration.  Our good friends at Pacific Northwest Waterways Association have the details in the most recent issue of the Nor'Wester.

6.  Oregon State University is Awarded 33 Grants for Research

This month we lost another friend...those of you in or around Portland probably knew Dennis John Lindsay of Lindsay, Hart, Neil & Weigler.  Attached is his obituary from the Oregonian.
