Association News:

1.   Location for 91st Annual Convention - Results of Survey
Location Survey...
Thank you very much to all of you who voted on the location for next year's Convention.  So many of you got back to me the next day, that was very much appreciated!  The vote started out close between Lake Chelan and Coeur d'Alene Resort, but as the week went on the Coeur d'Alene kept getting more and more votes.  Listening to the majority of folks that wrote in with a vote we will go back to the Coeur d'Alene Resort again next year.  We will have a much bigger room block now that we have a whole year to secure the space, but I will also hold some rooms at the Coeur d'Alene Inn for those people who would like to come and visit and stay on a budget.

Golf Suggestions...Thanks to all of you who asked to go back to Circling Raven Golf Course.  The golf pro there was wonderful to work with and the course was spectacular!  Despite the huge wind storm that swept away our reception tent, it was a terrific place to hold our final tournament of the Convention.  We will definitely go back there next year.  The second course will be determined as we get a bit closer to the dates (Indian Canyon was suggested as well).

Spouse Event...I will let you know the outcome as we get closer to the Convention next year.  About half the people who voted, said that they would probably participate in the Spouse Event.  I will set up something and see if there are enough people to make it happen.

2.  Staff Vacation - Becky will be out until 8/13
Just to keep you in the loop...I will be on vacation for the next week and a half.  Time to celebrate another successful, happy year and enjoy the company of my family!
