Association News:

1.  PNWGFA 2007 Directory Advertising - Attention Advertisers
It’s time to assemble the PNWGFA 2007 Annual Directory.  We will be making a few changes to this issue of the Directory.  We will be listing all members operating in the PNW, as well as, all Non-Members.  This should make the Directory a much better tool for our members who rely on the contact numbers, names and e-mail address listed within.

The BIGGEST change that will occur is on the back cover! For the first time in 12 years the back cover of our Directory will be open to PNWGFA Members for bid.  The back cover is one of the most prominent spaces for Advertisers to make their mark.  We will be holding a Blind (or sealed bid) Auction for this prominent advertising space.

How the Auction works:   The Auction is only open to members of the Pacific Northwest Grain & Feed Association.  The back cover will be a full color Advertisement and the bidding will start at $875.  Deadline for bids is October 20th.  Those interested in reserving this space should send in their advertising contract and bid for the back cover.  On October 20th the company with the highest bid will win the spot.  I will announce the winner in the following issue of our NewsBulletin and on our Webpage.

(Starting in June 2007 we will incorporate the Back Cover Auction into our Annual June Membership Meeting.  The Bids will be opened at the Conference and the winner announced at the Thursday evening Reception.)

Click here for your copy of the 2007 Advertising Contract.  I will also be mailing the contract to all of our past Advertisers.

2.  Idaho Golf Tournament & Trout Fry - Wrap Up
We had a GREAT turnout for our Tournament & Trout Fry, it had been a while since we saw some the people from that area.  A good time was had by all and we were able to offer many terrific prizes, as well as, cold hard cash!  The prizes were sponsored by CLD Pacific Grain, LLC, PNWGFA & Union Pacific Railroad.  If you were not able to attend this year, it will be an annual event so don't miss out next September!
