2.  Port's New Rail Yard an Economic Engine for Region 
In July the Port of Portland received good news from the Oregon Transportation Commission.  They decided to contribute $6.8 million in ConnectOregon funding to help the Port build a rail yard in Rivergate.  Follow this link for the whole story.
