Happy
Holidays!!! Sponsorship: We are very grateful for our generous Sponsors, because of them, we are able to keep our fees from going up each year. As a thank you to these Companies, I list each of them in our Annual Directory, on signs posted in the Trade Show Area and at the Dinner Banquet, we also list them on all promotional material and the conference agenda. If you are interested in helping sponsor our Dinner Banquet, please contact Becky Andrews at (503) 227-0234. Entertainment: The Resort was able to book Sammy Eubanks (Fabulous Blues Man from Spokane) to play in the lounge on the nights we are at the Resort, so bring your dancing shoes! We will be at the Coeur d’Alene Resort in February 2006 for our Warehousemen’s Conference.
Please mark your calendar with the following dates: February 9-10, 2006. Our conference rate is $89 for economy rooms, $109 for Deluxe rooms and $119 for Premier rooms.
(They are in the process of renovating their economy rooms, so all rooms will be great.)
For reservations please call 1-800-688-5253.

Columbia River Bar Pilots Offer Tour This
from Captain Gary Lewin: "The Columbia River Bar Pilots are
proud of our ability and equipment which enables us to keep the river
open in severe winter conditions. No other river system in the
world operates in similar conditions. The new helicopter and
pilot boat have facilitated our ability to work large grain vessels in
the worst of situations. We would like to extend an invitation
to the members of PNWGFA to visit our facility, ride on the pilot boat
or helicopter and learn about the efforts we make to keep the river
viable year round. If in the Astoria area please call Captain
Lewin at (503) 440-2041 or call the office dispatch at (503)
325-2641. We are happy for the opportunity to show the members
of PNWGFA our effort to keep the Columbia River competitive."
